It’s free and easy to use.
Simply post your job and let the right tradespeople come to you. Compare their profiles and choose who you want to contact. No more ringing around only to find someone can’t help you or is booked up for the next 6 months.
Trade-Hive does not offer a direct messaging service. Instead, homeowners will be able to access the profiles for tradespeople who are interested in their live jobs and use the details from the profile to make contact directly.

No, we do not. Once you have shortlisted tradespeople who are interested in your job, we recommend you conduct your own checks on their credentials and reviews for extra peace of mind.
However, if you do have a negative experience with any tradespeople, or homeowners through Trade-Hive, please get in touch and we will investigate and decide whether they should be removed from the site.

Trade-Hive is free to use for both homeowners and tradespeople. This is, and will always be, something that sets us apart from similar services.
However, we were keen to find a way that Trade-Hive could do even more good. As such, we’ve partnered with UK homelessness charity, Shelter, and invite you to make a donation.
Your donation will be split. 50% will go towards keeping Trade-Hive up and running. The other 50% will go directly to Shelter to support the excellent work they do. You can donate via the website:
Once a job is completed, you will be prompted to make a donation. This is completely voluntary and you will still be able to use the service if you choose not to make a donation.
The amount you donate is entirely up to you. You may choose to donate a fixed amount per completed job, a percentage of the value of each completed job, or perhaps a fixed amount per month/year to support the service.
We have categorised jobs under the most common job categories. For jobs that don’t really fit into any of these categories, please select the closest match. We want to make sure Trade-Hive is as helpful as possible, so please contact us with suggestions for categories we should consider adding to the Trade-Hive service.
Our intention is that Trade-Hive will become a UK-wide service. However, it is a relatively new service. As such, it will take some time to grow the list of tradespeople registered on the site. Our founder is based in Norfolk, so we will roll out regions from there.
Trade-Hive aims to take some of the guesswork out of choosing a tradesperson. As such, only those tradespeople who are interested in a specific job will be visible to the homeowner.
There are no local tradespeople interested in taking on your project yet. It may be that you need to give it a few more days for tradespeople to find and respond to your job. It may also be that we do not yet have any relevant tradespeople registered in your local area.
Trade-Hive is a relatively new site and it will take some time for us to build up the list of tradespeople registered with us. Please bear with us whilst the site grows!
